Zelensky reveals the countries participating in the Black Sea Security Summit

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated during a press conference in Odessa that the countries participating in the Black Sea Security Summit will be Ukraine, France, the United Kingdom, and Turkey as the host country.

Zelensky said: "A military-level meeting is being held in Turkey on the issue of security in the Black Sea. This primarily concerns the 'coalition of the willing'. There will be representatives from Europe, as determined at the Paris summit, from Britain and France, and necessarily Ukraine and the host country, Turkiye."

Zelensky added that military personnel from the "coalition of the willing" will work at the meeting on security in the Black Sea. 

The United Nations welcomes the Russian-US-Ukrainian agreement on navigation security in the Black Sea.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense had previously reported an upcoming meeting on April 15-16 at the Republic's Navy with the participation of military representatives (military attachés) from several foreign countries. Details were not provided. TRT Haber, citing sources in the Turkish Ministry of Defense, reported that the meeting is planned to discuss security issues in the Black Sea "in light of a possible ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine." In this context, navigational safety and continued efforts to protect ships from naval mines are expected to be discussed. Russian representatives will not participate in the two-day meeting hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
