The Houthis announce two military operations against Israel and US targets in the Red Sea.

The group's military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said in a statement that the attacks targeted vital targets in Israel and two US aircraft carriers in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

Saree explained that the first operation targeted the Ashkelon area in Israel using a "Yaffa" drone, while the second operation targeted the city of Eilat using a "Samad 1" drone.

He also announced the implementation of two operations against the US aircraft carriers Truman and Vinson in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, using cruise missiles and drones.

The military spokesman confirmed that the operations hit their targets accurately, noting that the attacks were part of the Houthi group's response to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and that they represent one step in a series of responses to US attacks against the Yemeni people.

Earlier today, the Houthi group announced that 12 people were killed and 30 injured in US airstrikes on a market and the residential neighborhood of Farwa in Sana'a on Sunday evening, while three governorates were hit by airstrikes on Monday morning.

The group said on Sunday that the United States is preparing for a ground military operation in Yemen, warning that such a move "threatens to destabilize the situation."

Since March 15, the United States has carried out hundreds of airstrikes on Yemen, killing 217 civilians and wounding 436 others as of Sunday, most of them children and women, according to official Houthi data that does not include casualties from the group's forces.

The raids come after US President Donald Trump ordered his country's military to launch a "major offensive" against the Houthi group, before threatening to "completely eliminate" them.

However, the group ignored Trump's threat and resumed bombing sites inside Israel and ships in the Red Sea heading to the country, in response to the occupation's resumption of its war of extermination against Palestinians in Gaza, which began on March 18.
