Telkomsel records 15.7 percent increase in broadband traffic during Eid holiday

Telkomsel recorded that broadband traffic during March 26 to April 8, 2025 or during the Eid holiday increased by 15.7 percent compared to the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2024 period.

According to a company press release quoted on Saturday, broadband traffic during that period increased 12 percent compared to a normal day in 2025.

"The significant increase in Telkomsel broadband traffic is proof of customer trust in Telkomsel services during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2025," said Telkomsel Vice President of Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility Saki Hamsat Bramono.

According to him, this achievement is the result of various efforts carried out by the company in the Telkomsel Siaga 2025 program as well as the utilization of various innovations in network technology, products and services.

Telkomsel uses AI technology to identify 476 crowded areas and quickly resolve network issues.

The company also expanded its 5G network coverage by deploying more than 1,400 5G BTS in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi and more than 90 5G BTS in Surabaya.

In addition, the company conducted network tests at various busy points and main homecoming routes with a total distance of 17,537 km and provided RAFI (Ramadhan Idul Fitri) Standby Posts in various regions of Indonesia.
