Real Madrid confirmed without Mbappe and Mendy against Getafe

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that his team will not be strengthened by Kylian Mbappe and Ferland Mendy when facing Getafe in the 33rd week of the Spanish League at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez Stadium, Madrid.

"They are not ready for tomorrow's game. They will train for the next few days, and I hope they will be ready for Saturday's game," said Ancelotti, as quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday.

Kylian Mbappe was previously absent when facing Athletic Club last week, while Ferland Mendy is currently still recovering from a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, regarding the match against Getafe, Ancelotti said that Real Madrid's opponents have the potential to make things difficult for Federico Valverde and his colleagues.

According to Ancelotti, Getafe is a team that plays high intensity and has good organization and plays a lot of duels.

The Italian coach added that Getafe is a very strong team with clear ideas and he is ready to face the game.

"I think we are ready and excited for it. The end of the season is getting closer, and the games are getting more and more important for all the teams because we have a lot at stake and we want to keep going," said Ancelotti.
