PT LIB: U-17 national team's success in the World Cup is a joint effort

Jakarta - President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (PT LIB) Ferry Paulus said the success of the Indonesian U-17 national team in reaching the final round of the 2025 U-17 World Cup was the result of joint efforts.

"We are not merely claiming that this is the league's contribution, no, this is a joint contribution, where the clubs want to contribute and have a place for the players, so that the players have good physical training because they compete for a long duration," said Ferry when met in Jakarta, Tuesday.

"If we talk about standardization, our standards are clear, with players competing in the EPA (Elite Pro Academy) it will continue to create reliable players," he continued.

The majority of the U-17 national team members who successfully secured their place in the 2025 U-17 World Cup finals and the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup quarter-finals are players who have already tasted competition at EPA. Only a small number are not from EPA, such as Torres Aziz, Mathew Baker, and Aldyansyah Taher.
