Makassar - The PSM Makassar squad stated that they are ready to give their best game against the Cong An Ha Noi squad in the first leg of the 2024/2025 ASEAN Club Championship (AFC) semifinals at the Gelora BJ Habibie Stadium, Parepare City, South Sulawesi, Wednesday at 20.30 WITA.
PSM Makassar goalkeeper Reza Arya Pratama said his team will maximize tonight's match with the best performance, considering that the match is important for PSM Makassar, even though the match is held on a holiday.
"I am very grateful because we can return to Sulawesi for an international match. Of course, we will give our best and the support of the supporters is very important, and hopefully we can be given a victory," he said optimistically.
As a goalkeeper who has a big responsibility in the international match, he will work hard to keep the goal from being conceded by the CAHN FC players, a club from Vietnam.
Because, every match, he said, wants a clean sheet (not conceding). However, he does not yet know the field situation that will occur tonight. But, the most important thing is if you concede a goal, you have to put the ball into the opponent's goal.
"We play at home, of course we want to win, especially since this is the first leg and the second leg. The most important thing is to get points here so that we can win in the second leg," he explained enthusiastically.
