An Ipsos poll showed that 70% of French people are dissatisfied with President Emmanuel Macron's policies, and 67% oppose those of his Prime Minister, François Bayrou.
According to a poll conducted by Ipsos for the Tribune du Manche newspaper, "French President Emmanuel Macron's popularity has declined, with 70% of French people disapproving of his performance, while only 26% support him."
The survey also showed that the percentage of those dissatisfied with the performance of French Prime Minister François Bayrou rose to 67% in April, a 3-point increase from March, while only 24% expressed positive opinions.
Among the ministers with the highest ratings according to the survey were Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin with 33% and Interior Minister Bruno Retaillo with a similar rating, although the former lost 3% in April and the latter 2%.
Among potential presidential candidates in the 2027 elections, National Rally leader Jordan Bardella leads with 34%, the party's parliamentary bloc leader Marine Le Pen is second with 33%, and former Prime Minister Édouard Philippe is third with 31%.
The poll was conducted between April 9 and 10 among 1,000 French residents over the age of 18, with a margin of error of 1.4 percentage points.
