Persis Solo wants to bounce back from their 1-3 home defeat to Malut United in their away match against PS Barito Putera, even though four key players were absent due to injury, in the 29th week match of the Indonesian League 1 at the Demang Lehman Stadium, Martapura, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan, Saturday (19/4).
"Four of our key players are injured and will likely not be able to play in tomorrow's match. I have prepared alternatives," said Persis Solo Coach Ong Kim Swee (OKS) in a press conference on the sidelines of training at the Demang Lehman Martapura Stadium, Banjar, South Kalimantan, Friday night.
OKS emphasized that whoever the alternative players are that are prepared must be able to take maximum advantage of the opportunities, because the squad as a whole should be able to understand the team's condition.
"After the home defeat against Malut United, we underwent disciplined training. We need a lot of improvement after last week's defeat," he said.
OKS asked his team to always be alert with the home team, because Barito Putera has a pretty good squad and consistently plays at home.
