Jakarta - Pelita Jaya suffered its first defeat in the 2025 Basketball Champions League (BCL) Asia competition after being defeated by Taoyuan Pauian Pilots 64-88 in the continuation of Window 2 Basketball Champions League (BCL) Asia-East 2025 which was held at GMSB Kuningan, Jakarta, Sunday.
The win leaves the Pilots as the only unbeaten team in Group A after two away games, as they prepare for three home games in Taipei City later this month.
Despite the direct support of around 2,000 spectators, the highest number so far this season, Pelita Jaya failed to capitalize on the home atmosphere to turn things around.
The Indonesian team managed to cut the deficit to just 10 points early in the third quarter, but the momentum was shattered by Alec Brown's sharp three-point shot.
