The World Boxing Association announced that boxer Josh Padley is ready to face Marko Cventanovic for the vacant WBA International lightweight title at the Canon Medical Arena, Sheffield, England, next Saturday.
"This is Padley's chance to make amends and a chance to prove that he still deserves to be in the elite ranks," the WBA said on its website in Jakarta, Friday.
Padley will enter the ring with 15 wins, four of which were by knockout and one loss.
The British boxer is looking to bounce back after suffering a heavy defeat to top prospect Shakur Stevenson.
Now, the 29-year-old boxer faces a tough test from Cvetanovic who has a perfect record of 13 wins, six of which have come by knockout.
Cventanovic's relentless, high-pressure fighting style makes him one of Serbia's most promising athletes.
