OPEC+ maximum oil output expected to rise by 253,000 bpd in May.





 The maximum oil production level in OPEC+ countries, taking into account compensation plans, is expected to increase by 253,000 barrels per day (bpd) in May compared to April 2025.

According to RIA Novosti calculations on Wednesday based on OPEC+ data, calculations show that the maximum oil production from Russia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and Oman in April is expected to reach 30.554 million bpd without the compensation plan, and 30.332 million bpd if the plan is implemented.

In May, production is expected to reach 30.963 million bpd (with compensation plan) and 30.585 million bpd (without compensation plan).

Thus, the maximum monthly production increase is estimated to reach 253,000 bpd.
