Official: Copa del Rey final between Barcelona and Real Madrid set

The Spanish Football Federation has officially announced the date for the El Clásico final between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.

Real Madrid booked their place in the Copa del Rey final after defeating Real Sociedad in the semi-finals, a round that also saw Barcelona overcome Atletico Madrid.

Seville will host the Copa del Rey final on Saturday, April 26, at La Cartuja Stadium, which has a capacity of 57,600 fans, at 11:00 PM Saudi time.

The last meeting between the two giants in the Copa del Rey final was in the 2013-2014 season, when Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 with a goal from Welshman Gareth Bale.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona has won the Copa del Rey 31 times, the most of any club, while Real Madrid has won it 20 times.
