Jakarta - A total of 14,485 tourists visited a number of tourist destinations in the Seribu Islands Regency during the 1446 Hijri Eid al-Fitr holiday.
"It was recorded that since Monday (31/3) to Wednesday (2/4), as many as 14,485 tourists have crossed from four dock gates to several tourist locations in the Seribu Islands," said the Head of the Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency, Sonti Pangaribuan in Jakarta, Thursday.
He said on Monday (31/3), there were a total of 2,565 tourists. Then on Tuesday (1/4) there were 4,627 people and Wednesday (2/4) as many as 7,293 tourists.
He assessed that vacationing to the Seribu Islands is still an alternative for some people to fill the long Eid al-Fitr holiday and joint leave in 2025.
He said the number of tourist visits during the Eid holiday increased compared to normal days because there were only 500 to 1,000 people.
