Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo revealed that Public School buildings, whether renovated, optimized or newly built, are equipped with earthquake-resistant technology.
"Always, when we build, it must always be equipped with earthquake-resistant technology and so on," said Dody in Jakarta, Monday.
According to him, the renovation and optimization of the People's School will also be adjusted by being equipped with earthquake-resistant technology and so on.
"Of course, that's why there are renovations, renovations to the People's School, one of which is not only adding toilets or adding classrooms but also adapting them to be equipped with earthquake-resistant technology and so on," he said.
Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo emphasized his commitment to fully support the development of educational infrastructure in the People's School program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.
Dody explained that the Ministry of Public Works' support for the People's School program is a direct implementation of President Prabowo's vision in Asta Cita, which places the education sector as one of the main pillars to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045.
The Ministry of Public Works is fully committed to supporting the development of educational infrastructure, especially through the People's School program.
The Ministry of Public Works ensures that basic infrastructure, such as school buildings, dormitories, sanitation, and other learning support facilities will be adequately provided. This is important so that Indonesian children, especially those from the extreme poor, have access to quality education.
