Marks & Spencer claims to have been the target of a cyber attack.

British multinational retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) claims it was recently the target of a cyber attack that disrupted a number of its online operations, including "Click and Collect".

"A cyber incident resulted in disruption to some of our services," M&S said in a statement on its website on Thursday.

M&S apologises for any inconvenience caused by this process disruption, and in response to the cyber security incident, M&S has taken proactive steps to move some of their operational processes offline to protect their colleagues, partners, suppliers and business.

The company confirmed that its stores remain open so customers can continue to shop on its website and app. However, M&S is not currently processing contactless payments and has temporarily suspended in-store “Click & Collect” orders, so there may be delays in delivery times.
