"It was grazed, not hit. If it had been hit it would probably have been destroyed," said one of the witnesses at the location, Tumbur (46) at the location.
He admitted that the victim died instantly after suffering injuries and bleeding to the head.
According to Tumbur, the victim was a resident from Palembang who had been seen walking around alone in the RW 03 area of Grogol Petamburan Village for the past four months.
Tumbur, who works as a local security officer, admitted that he had reported to the local Social Services (Dinsos) to catch the victim because he was sleeping carelessly in the surrounding area, causing residents to be restless.
"When called by the Social Service, this person did not want to be taken, he said he was still sane. That's why the Social Service did not dare to take him," he said.
