Madura United is optimistic about being able to steal points when facing Persebaya Surabaya in the 29th week of the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 at the Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) Stadium, Surabaya.
"We remain enthusiastic and focused for a very important match against, because it is against a top team like Persebaya. We are very ready," said Madura United Coach Alfredo Vera in a pre-match press conference (PMPC) session, at the Persebaya Surabaya office, Saturday.
Although, his team only had a short preparation time after undergoing the 2024/2025 AFC Challenge League semifinal match against Svey Rieng FC, on Thursday (17/4), at the Gelora Joko Samudro Gresik Stadium.
Therefore, he has advised all his players to be wary of all the players of the club nicknamed Bajol Ijo, even though their performance has declined.
