Liverpool are excited about their remaining nine games

Jakarta - Liverpool coach Arne Slot admitted that his team is very excited to face the remaining nine matches in the Premier League, which will start with the match against Everton at Anfield on Thursday (5/4) at 02.00 WIB.

Slot said this because the next few matches will be very decisive for the progress of his team, which is currently most favored to win the Premier League because it is nine points ahead of Arsenal.

"Everyone can understand the position we are in, that we are all really looking forward to the next nine games," Slot was quoted as saying on the club's official website on Wednesday.

The former Feyenoord coach also revealed that his team's mental condition is good after suffering two important defeats against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 and Newcastle United in the League Cup final.

He admitted that the international break after the two defeats helped restore his team's mentality.

"Because if you then stay at your club you have to win the next game, but if you go to the national team everything is new again and it's the same if you move from the Premier League to the Champions League. It's a different league. Maybe that helps as well," he explained.
