Jakarta - Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez said his team's performance was "complete" when they embarrassed Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena, Wednesday WIB.
In that match, Lautaro contributed one goal for the Nerazzurri in the 38th minute. Davide Frattesi's goal in the 88th minute sealed Inter's victory in this match after three minutes earlier the match had been tied due to Thomas Muller's goal.
"It was a complete performance. I'm very happy because once again on a difficult pitch, the players showed who they are," Lautaro, who scored his seventh Champions League goal of the season, told Sky Germany after the match.
The win was Inter's fifth in a row in the Champions League, marking the first time they have won multiple games in a row since winning it all in 2010.
On the other hand, the defeat was Bayern's first at home in the Champions League in 22 games.
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi said he was delighted to bring victory from Munich to the San Siro for next week's second leg.
