The Kendari Pratama Tax Service Office noted that 72 thousand corporate or company and individual taxpayers have submitted their Tax Returns or SPT .
Head of Kendari Pratama Tax Office Muhammad Yusrie Abas in Kendari, Monday said that the number had only reached 64.99 percent of the total target of 104,146 taxpayers in his work area on March 31, 2025.
"For that reason, it was extended (the SPT reporting period) for 10 days, and from that extension, it was recorded that the SPT reporting achievement increased to 69.2 percent or 72 thousand taxpayers," said Yusrie Abas.
The number of SPT reports consists of 1,868 corporate or company taxpayers, 62 thousand individual employees and 8,196 non-employee taxpayers.
His party has made various efforts to improve compliance with the reporting of the SPT, starting from the outreach program called the Tax Corner in malls or shopping centers, agency offices to cross-regional to districts that are its working areas.
"We also collaborated with BI Sultra in the Serambi program at the MTQ (Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran) yesterday, we also helped taxpayers in reporting their annual SPT, then we held tax corners in several districts in Konawe, Konsel, Konut and Konkep," he said.
He asked all taxpayers to immediately report their annual SPT, be it SPT Form SPT 1770, SPT Form 1770 S, and SPT Form 1770 SS.
"For the target of taxpayers who report their annual SPT, although the distribution target has not been carried out, we are optimistic that this annual SPT report can reach 100 thousand taxpayers," explained Yusrie Abas.
