Indonesia welcomes Rp27 trillion investment for cloud from Microsoft




 The Indonesian government welcomes an investment worth IDR 27 trillion from technology company Microsoft for the development of digital infrastructure in the form of a regional cloud that also supports the development of national artificial intelligence ( AI ).

Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said the investment was in line with the digital transformation which was also a national priority in the Red and White Cabinet (KMP) program.

"Digital transformation is the President's direct directive, and we support it with policies that make Indonesia more competitive," said Meutya Hafid when receiving Microsoft representatives at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Office.
