 The governments of the Republic of Indonesia and Russia are strengthening strategic cooperation in the field of communication and digital technology, which is further strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries for 75 years.

Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria stated that the cooperation includes the development of 5G cellular technology networks, broadband, digital ecosystems, e-commerce , postal services, and the latest digital technology.

"We are opening up a number of potential collaborations that we can improve, including telecommunications, digital ecosystem, e-commerce, postal services and emerging technologies ," said Nezar after receiving the Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Andrey Zarenin, at the Ministry of Communication and Mass Communications Office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday.

In this collaboration, Nezar said Indonesia is interested in expanding international connectivity which includes bandwidth for international internet and data transmission.
