A British newspaper report revealed the terms of the new contract that Egyptian national team and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah intends to sign with his English team.
This development comes after weeks of speculation about the player's future, especially with his current contract set to expire next summer.
According to the British newspaper, The Sun, Mohamed Salah is on the verge of signing a "stunning" new contract with Liverpool, worth a total of 42 million pounds (equivalent to 54 million dollars) in wages over the term of the contract.
The new contract will run until 2027 and will make Salah one of the highest-paid players in Premier League history, earning £400,000 per week, a significant increase from his current £350,000 per week.
The renewal decision ends the controversy surrounding Salah's future, which had been the focus of interest from numerous international clubs, including Saudi clubs, which expressed strong interest in signing him at the end of the current season.
Mohamed Salah has participated in 45 matches in all competitions with Liverpool this season, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists.
