Tanjungpandan - The Class IV Port Authority and Harbor Office of Tanjungpandan Belitung, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, recorded that the number of travelers at Belitung Port during Eid al-Fitr 2025 reached 5,007 people.
"The number of travelers entering or leaving Belitung in 2025 will increase by 32 percent or 3,200 people compared to 2024. The high number of travelers from or to Belitung this year is influenced by the long holidays," said Head of KSOP Class IV Tanjungpandan, Bambang Candra in Tanjungpandan, Tuesday.
The party noted that from March 22 to April 1, 2025, the number of travelers crossing through Belitung Port reached 5,007 people.
He said that the number of homecoming travelers consisted of 2,404 passengers boarding or leaving Belitung and 2,603 passengers entering or leaving Belitung.
Based on the data, the number of travelers who boarded using fast boat services from March 22 to April 1, 2025 reached 1,972 passengers boarding the ship and 2,214 passengers disembarking the ship.
"In addition to using fast boat services, travelers also used KM Salvia, with 415 passengers boarding and 349 passengers disembarking, and KM Star Belitung, with 17 people boarding and 40 people disembarking," he explained.
