Fun activities that help you get quality sleep according to psychologists


Jakarta - Clinical psychologist who graduated from the University of Indonesia, Kasandra A. Putranto, said there are several fun activities that can help someone get better quality sleep and create better sleep patterns.

"Many people find it difficult to restore their sleep patterns because the body and mind need time to re-adapt to the daily routine," said Kasandra when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Monday.

The first activity he suggests is exercising for at least 30 minutes every day. Regular exercise will help improve sleep quality, as long as it is not done too close to bedtime.

Relaxation and meditation such as deep breathing or yoga can be an option for those who want to calm the mind and body. Take time every night to do these activities before going to bed.

Reading books is also said to help calm the mind. Light and not too stimulating reading is recommended to prepare the body to relax before bed.
