Constipation causes weight not to go down even though you have reduced calories.

Weight that doesn't go down even though you have tried to maintain a calorie deficit could be caused by constipation.

Quoting a report from Medical Daily, on Saturday, a hormonal health coach and nutritionist specializing in women's health from Greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Abram Anderson said that persistent weight loss may not be due to diet or exercise, but rather to bowel movements.

According to him, constipation is a common digestive problem but is often ignored, it could be a hidden cause of the problem.
