The value and quality of a product, for female entrepreneur Yunna Mercier, who is involved in the skincare product sector, is the main strength of a business, especially when they use an e-commerce platform.
"Here I learned that we don't just offer prices, but we also offer product value," said Yunna in the webinar "We are Great, We Can: Empowering Women with TikTok, Tokopedia, and TikTok Shop" which was attended from Jakarta, Thursday.
Yunna, who owns a brand called Animate, chose a different path for her business and products to survive and thrive amidst the tight competition in the beauty industry on digital platforms. She prefers the value and quality of the product, as well as emotional closeness with consumers rather than competing to give big discounts.
