Bhayangkara Presisi FC Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sumardji said his team did not rule out the possibility of recruiting Indonesian national team players to compete in the Indonesian League 1 next season.
The national team players in question are those who rarely get minutes at their clubs, such as Shayne Pattynama, Nathan Tjoe-A-On, and Rafael Struick.
"It all depends, the option depends if it is possible and they want to join Bhayangkara, then we are happy. This manager always asks me," said Sumardji at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) event between Bhayangkara and the Lampung Provincial Government (Pemprov) in Jakarta, Tuesday.
Sumardji said that his party had established communication with several national team players in question. When asked who the players were, Sumardji was reluctant to answer.
"There are," said Sumardji about the national team players who are currently negotiating with his team.
