Bayer Indonesia has launched a website titled bicaraperempuan.com to improve access to reproductive health (kespro) information for Indonesian women.
"The launch of this site is our real step in providing the information needed by Indonesian women so they can make independent and wise health decisions," said Country Division Head Bayer Pharmaceuticals Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore Riaz Buksh in a media meeting.
Buksh emphasized that improving women's health, rights and economic status is a major step in promoting gender equality.
As women begin to take on important roles in various areas of society including leadership and decision-making regarding family health, the need to address women-specific health issues also increases.
