Serang - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry together with the government has set a policy of discounting crossing rates between Bakauheni and Merak by 21 percent to 36 percent, during the return flow of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah, for various categories of passenger vehicles.
The discount policy for Bakauheni-Merak crossing rates is valid from April 3, 2025 at 12.00 WIB to April 7, 2025 at 12.00 WIB.
ASDP Corporate Secretary Shelvy Arifin in his statement in Serang City, Tuesday said the policy was hoped to help people who returned to Java Island after celebrating Eid in their hometowns.
"With this policy, travelers are expected to be able to plan their return journey better and well in advance and take advantage of the discount period to avoid queues at the peak of the return flow," said Shelvy.
