Banda Aceh - PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Banda Aceh Branch has added five trips per day for the Ulee Lheue ferry from Banda Aceh to Balohan Sabang, Aceh Province until D+6 of Eid 2025.
General Manager of ASDP Banda Aceh Branch Rudy B Hanafiah in Banda Aceh, Tuesday said that starting from April 1 to April 5 or D+6 of Eid 2025, the number of roro ship trips will be increased to five trips per day.
"The increase to five trips will temporarily start from today until April 5, then return to four trips," he said.
Rudy explained that the additional schedule was implemented starting April 1 or D+2 of Eid 1446 Hijriah due to a spike in the number of passengers at Ulee Lheue Port.
Based on his estimates, the number of passengers on D+2 of Eid is projected to reach 1,500 people per day, an increase from the normal condition of only around 600 passengers per day.
