Artificial intelligence exposes fraudulent online "spiritual healer"

The Russian Telegram channel "SHOT" conducted a unique experiment using artificial intelligence to expose the lies of a "spiritual healer" who claimed to treat people through online and video calls.

The channel's administrators noted that while searching for online scams, they discovered a "spiritual healer" claiming to treat people via video calls using the Zoom app. To verify her claims, they used artificial intelligence techniques to superimpose an image of one of the channel's subscribers' faces onto the body of a thin woman who appeared to have cancer.

Indeed, a video call was made with the "spiritual healer" and the photo was shown to her. The healer claimed that the girl had cancer and that she could treat her through three paid online video sessions.

After discovering the "spiritual healer" was lying, the channel's anchor contacted her via video call, displayed the AI-generated image, and confronted her with the facts. However, the "fraudulent healer" ended the call without a single comment.
