Technology company Apple is reportedly developing two new models of the Vision Pro headset, namely a lighter and cheaper version than the first generation, as well as a variant that can be connected directly to a Mac.
As reported by Engadget on Monday, this was reported by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. Previously, Apple had considered this concept for AR glasses, but now the idea has been shifted to Vision Pro.
The reason is to create a system with very low latency to display the user's Mac screen or run high-end business applications, Mark said.
However, Apple's ultimate goal is still to develop augmented reality glasses that are practical and comfortable enough to wear like regular glasses. Mark said that Apple CEO Tim Cook is very ambitious to create a leading product in this industry before Meta succeeds.
