Al-Qassam Brigades announces targeting Israeli soldiers and military vehicles south of Khan Yunis.

This came as part of a series of statements published by the Qassam Brigades on Friday via its Telegram account, detailing battles fought in the Qizan al-Najjar area south of Khan Yunis.

Al-Qassam Brigades said: "After their return from the battle lines, our fighters confirmed the detonation of three high-explosive devices in two Zionist D9 military bulldozers on Wednesday afternoon in the Qizan al-Najjar area."

In another statement, it added that in the same area, "a Zionist force was lured near a booby-trapped tunnel shaft. As soon as the force members arrived at the location and a number of soldiers went inside, the tunnel shaft was detonated with a number of explosive devices," noting that the operation resulted in "a number of members of the force being killed and wounded."

Qassam fighters also targeted three Israeli D9 bulldozers with a Yassin 105 shell, a Shawaaz explosive device, and a barrel bomb yesterday, Thursday, in the Qizan al-Najjar area, according to a statement issued by the Brigades.

On March 18, Israel reneged on the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in effect since January 19, 2025, and resumed its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, closing its crossings and preventing the entry of aid, despite Hamas's commitment to all terms of the agreement.
