Al-Qassam Brigades announces the killing and wounding of four Israeli soldiers in a well-planned ambush in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Brigades said in a statement: "In continuation of the 'Breaking the Sword' ambush, Qassam fighters were able, yesterday, Thursday, to snipe four soldiers and officers of the occupation army, killing and wounding them on Al-Awda Street, east of the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip."

The Qassam Brigades did not provide further details, while the Israeli occupation army did not comment on the incident.

Today, Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida said in posts on Telegram that Qassam fighters are still "fighting heroic battles, carrying out well-planned ambushes, and lying in wait for enemy forces to inflict a certain massacre on them at the place, time, and method of their choosing."

Abu Obeida stressed that the heroism of the Qassam fighters "on the ground, from Beit Hanoun to Rafah, is a source of pride, a military miracle, and a testament to all the nation's youth and forces."

He added that their fighters "are in combat positions and defensive ambushes, ready for confrontation, and have pledged to remain steadfast until victory or martyrdom."

In the same context, the Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday that one of its soldiers was killed and three others were seriously injured during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.

On April 21, the Qassam Brigades released footage of an attack on Israeli soldiers in Beit Hanoun, naming the operation "Breaking the Sword Ambush."

The video documented Qassam fighters targeting an Israeli military vehicle with a shell, then firing at it with gunfire and shells, causing it to overturn.

During the ambush, the Qassam Brigades said it targeted the support force that rushed to the scene with an anti-personnel "TV-3" bomb, while also documenting the targeting of a newly established Israeli forces position in the same location with four RPGs and a number of mortar shells.

On the evening of April 19, the Israeli occupation army acknowledged the death of an officer and the injury of three soldiers, including a female officer who was seriously wounded, during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
