Al-Houthi: 58 killed and dozens wounded in US airstrikes targeting Ras Isa port in western Yemen. The group's Al Masirah channel reported, citing the "Health Office in Hodeidah" : "The death toll from the American enemy's targeting of the Ras Issa facility has risen to 58 martyrs and 126 wounded, in a preliminary toll." Earlier on Friday morning, the channel announced that "38 workers and employees were killed and 102 others were injured, in a preliminary toll from the US aggression against the Ras Issa oil facility." The channel reported that " the Ras Issa port facility and its workers were targeted with 14 airstrikes," adding, "The American aggression has again targeted ambulance teams and civil defense crews at the crime scene." Earlier that day, the channel quoted its sources as saying that "the American enemy launched four raids on the Ras Issa area," without specifying the results of those strikes or the precise targets that were targeted. For its part, the US administration announced on Thursday the destruction of a fuel platform at Ras Isa port, which is under Houthi control. Since March 15, Anadolu Agency has monitored hundreds of US airstrikes on Yemeni territory. According to Houthi statements, these airstrikes have killed 125 civilians and injured 256 others, the majority of whom were children and women, not counting casualties among the group's fighters. These developments come on the heels of orders issued by US President Donald Trump to launch a "major offensive" against the Houthi group, threatening to "completely eliminate" them. Despite these threats, the group continued to target sites inside Israel and ships heading to the country in the Red Sea, in response to Tel Aviv's resumption of its war of extermination in the Gaza Strip on March 18.
