After the surprising exit from the Confederation Cup, Zamalek fans react violently

Zamalek fans vented their anger at the club's board of directors and players after the team's 1-0 defeat to South African side Stellenbosch at Cairo Stadium today.

The White Knights were eliminated from the Confederation Cup in the quarter-finals, which led to a fierce attack from the White Castle fans on the players and the board of directors.

The board of directors, headed by Hussein Labib, has been widely criticized, with fans holding it directly responsible for the team's declining performance due to poor planning, a lack of technical vision, and the club's neglect of its most prominent stars.

The fans chanted against the board: "You are not up to it, leave it, you have ruined it."

This attack comes at a sensitive time after Zamalek failed to maintain their chances of competing for the continental title, which negatively impacted the relationship between the management and the fans, especially since the South African team, participating in the continental tournament for the first time, managed to eliminate the previous edition's champions in a paradox that only increased the shock.
