 Recent research shows that simple changes in meal times can have a protective effect on heart health.

In a recent study published in the journal Nature Communications, researchers noted that people who work night shifts face fewer heart health risk factors if they only eat during the day.

"Our study controlled for every factor you can imagine that could influence the results, so we can say that it was the timing of the meal that was driving these changes in cardiovascular risk factors," said lead researcher Dr. Sarah Chellappa as quoted by Medical Daily, .
