The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said in a statement: "We are following up on the recent circulating posts and misleading information on social media regarding alleged arrangements for mass migration from the Gaza Strip. This is being undertaken by controversial figures in collaboration with external parties, and is promoting the travel of Palestinian families via Ramon Airport to various countries around the world."
He added, "We categorically affirm that this information is completely false and part of a malicious and systematic campaign aimed at undermining the resilience of our Palestinian people, undermining their national consciousness, and pushing them toward forced migration under the pressure of suffering and war."
The office added that "the primary culprit behind these posts is the Israeli occupation, and they are being promoted by fake accounts, malicious accounts, accounts that have been misled, or individuals who lack accurate information."
He continued, "They use forged documents and worthless legal power of attorney forms, and promote the illusion of the occupation, through so-called safe migration, which the occupation undertakes to finance, in an attempt to beautify the ugly face of mass displacement plans, which the occupation has failed to impose by force, and is now seeking to implement through soft, overt methods."
The office warned of "the danger of being drawn into this toxic propaganda, which serves a clear Zionist strategic goal that the occupation has dreamed of for decades: emptying the land of its indigenous Palestinian inhabitants and realizing Israel's dream."
He also warned against "circulating suspicious phone numbers and information published as part of these campaigns."
He called on "citizens to exercise extreme caution and full vigilance, as some of these figures are being used as recruitment and security communications tools, with the aim of bringing down Palestinian youth after the Israeli occupation failed to penetrate the national resistance fabric."
The government media statement emphasized that "migration from the homeland under occupation is not a safe option. Rather, it is a trap cloaked in false promises, leading to enticement, arrest, interrogation, execution, and outright murder, especially when traveling through sensitive areas or outside legal and official frameworks."
He also stressed that "the few cases that have recently left the Gaza Strip are well known, and they are among the sick and wounded who have completed travel procedures to receive treatment abroad via the Kerem Shalom crossing, and are not immigrants. Any rumors to the contrary are deliberate lies and a distortion of the facts."
In response to this "poisonous propaganda," the Gaza government called on Palestinians "not to be swayed by rumors and false information, and not to contribute to their dissemination."
She urged "immediate reporting to the competent authorities of any suspicious entity attempting to exploit people's needs or suggesting its ability to arrange legal migration."
It also called for "contacting the relevant authorities to verify any information, or to request related assistance."
The Gaza government affirmed that "there will be no leniency toward anyone proven to be involved in promoting these lies and rumors, or communicating with parties hostile to the Palestinian people, in order to preserve the security of society and the integrity of its national fabric."
She concluded by emphasizing that "Palestine is a holy land, and it is not for sale. The great Palestinian people will not be uprooted from this land. Joining it is an honor and a resistance, and emigrating from it is a deadly delusion."
On March 4, an emergency Arab summit on Palestine adopted a plan to rebuild Gaza without displacing Palestinians. The plan is expected to take five years to implement and cost approximately $53 billion.
