In Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, four Palestinians were killed and others wounded in Israeli shelling of the al-Atatra area. In the central Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed in two Israeli airstrikes, the first targeting al-Masdar village, northeast of Deir al-Balah, while the second targeted a gathering of civilians on Salah al-Din Street, north of al-Bureij camp, according to a medical source.

On Friday, the World Food Programme said that two million people in Gaza, most of them displaced, are entirely dependent on food aid.

The programme warned that Gaza is in dire need of immediate food supplies, with supplies of essential food supplies running low and the crossings remaining closed. It warned that hundreds of thousands of people in the Strip are at risk due to the shortage of food supplies.
