Yuki Tsunoda officially strengthens Red Bull Racing starting from 2025 Japanese GP

Jakarta - Racer Yuki Tsunoda will join the Oracle Red Bull Racing team starting from the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix at the Suzuka International Circuit, Mie Prefecture, Japan, on April 4-6.

Tsunoda replaces Liam Lawson and becomes teammate to four-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen.

This decision was taken following an evaluation of Lawson's performance in the first two races of the season.

"We collectively decided to make an early change," Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner told the team's official website on Thursday.

Horner stressed that Red Bull has two main targets for the 2025 season, namely defending the drivers' world championship title and reclaiming the constructors' title.
