Jakarta, - The government through the Ministry of Housing and Residential Areas will immediately hand over the keys to 20 thousand subsidized houses for teachers in various regions simultaneously on March 25.
"On March 25, we will start handing over the keys. So it's not groundbreaking, just handing over the keys to the teachers," said Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait in a press statement at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (19/3).
Maruarar, or Ara as she is familiarly called, explained that the handover of house keys to teachers would be carried out in various regions, including Bogor, Makassar, Aceh, Medan, Kupang, Bangkalan, and Jayapura.
Ara detailed that there are 20 thousand housing units ready to be occupied by teachers, but on March 25, the key handover will be carried out symbolically for 250 housing units.
On a previous occasion, Ara explained that subsidized housing for teachers would have a Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme.
This subsidized housing provision program is one of the government's programs to help low-income people (MBR) to own a home.
