Jakarta - A nutritionist from Harapan Kita Children and Mother Hospital said that expressed breast milk can be brought as a stock of baby food needs but must be done in the right way, so as not to damage the quality and content in it.
"Keep giving breast milk or complementary foods (MPASI) in good condition and at a controlled temperature. Maintain personal hygiene by washing your hands before preparing breast milk or MPASI," said Head of Nutrition Installation RSAB Harapan Kita Siti Dharma Azizah, SST, MKM, RD. when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Friday.
He said that when carrying breast milk during a trip, the stock of breast milk brought must be frozen and stored again in a cooler box with added ice gel or dry ice so that it can last up to 12 hours.
