Jakarta - The Free Health Check Program makes it easier for the public to screen for symptoms of kidney disease by providing services at basic health service facilities or community health centers.
Director of Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases at the Ministry of Health Siti Nadia Tarmizi said that this examination can be carried out at community health centers so that intervention measures can be carried out earlier if symptoms of kidney disease are found.
"One of the things we do is a screening examination for the kidneys. This is done at community health centers, meaning it is not done in hospitals, the detection is done at basic health service facilities," said Siti at a press conference for World Kidney Day 2025 in Jakarta, Wednesday.
