Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Digital has fulfilled a request from the Bali Provincial Government to temporarily suspend telecommunications and broadcasting services on the island of Bali on Nyepi Day, March 29, 2025.
"Regarding Nyepi, we will prepare a letter to all operators, and not only to cellular operators but also broadcasting organizers, to not broadcast or temporarily stop services for one day," said Communication and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid in Jakarta, Thursday.
Director General of Digital Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Wayan Toni Supriyanto, said that the termination of telecommunications and broadcasting services will be implemented from March 29, 2025 until the following day.
