PT Wijaya Karya Tbk through its subsidiary PT Wijaya Karya Serang Panimbang, is ready to operate the Serang-Panimbang Toll Road Section 1 with a length of 26.5 kilometers to support the 2025 Eid homecoming flow.
"This toll road is designed to reduce travel time from Jabodetabek to the central and southern Banten regions, where previously it took 3 to 4 hours, now it can be reached in just 1 to 2 hours," said WIKA President Director Agung BW in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday.
Agung said that to improve public comfort while passing through the Serang-Panimbang Toll Road during the homecoming flow, WIKA provides various supporting facilities.
Some of the facilities are four units of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations spread across strategic locations, a portable Public Fuel Filling Station unit, operational and transaction services ready to serve 24 hours, and ten units of operational vehicles such as safety units ambulances, tow trucks, patrols and PJR.
