Jakarta - Member of the Indonesian Dermatologist and Venereologist Association dr. Arini Astasari Widodo, Sp.KK said the public needs to pay attention to the types of footwear that are safe to wear when there are many flood disasters.
"Wearing closed footwear when cleaning the environment after a flood is highly recommended to protect the feet from contamination and injury," said Dr. Arini when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Monday.
Arini recommends people to choose rubber or plastic boots that are waterproof and easy to clean. The goal is so that various foreign particles do not easily enter the pores of the skin or injure the skin.
