Jakarta - The World Boxing Council Asia announced that boxer Sataphon Saart will face Chang Yeon Kim for the WBC Asia featherweight title in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 28, 2025.
"With the prestigious WBC Asia featherweight title at stake, this fight promises intensity, passion and high-level boxing," the WBC Asia report said as quoted from the association's website in Jakarta, Tuesday.
Sataphon Saart, known for his sharp technique and toughness, will look to maintain his dominance in his home turf when he steps into the ring at The Bazzar Hotel, Bangkok.
He will face a serious challenge when he hosts Chang Yeon Kim from South Korea as a strong and determined challenger.
WBC Asia said that fierce competition will occur because both boxers are determined to win the championship to climb the rankings on the international stage.
