Jakarta - Indonesian national team player Ole Romeny admitted that he could not imagine the euphoria of the Indonesian people if the Garuda team actually qualified for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
This was said by Romeny after scoring a 1-0 winning goal for Indonesia over Bahrain in the eighth match of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday (25/3).
"Qualifying for the World Cup of course. That's the ultimate achievement. Imagine how amazing it would be for Indonesia and all the kids who play football here, they can see their country playing in the World Cup. That's what we're fighting for," Ole said after the match.
