Surabaya - The Purabaya Type A Terminal has served 89,552 bus passengers during the period of March 23-28, 2025 during the 2025 Eid homecoming flow which coincided with D-3 of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah.
Purabaya Type A Terminal Public Relations Sarah Abigail said that the number consisted of 46,203 arriving passengers and 43,349 departing passengers.
"This figure shows an increase in public mobility ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri. We have seen an increasing trend in the number of passengers since last weekend, especially on intercity services within the province (AKDP)," he said when confirmed in Sidoarjo, Friday.
Sarah explained that in terms of departures, the highest number occurred on Tuesday (25/3) with 21,384 passengers.
Meanwhile, the number of passengers departing on Sunday (23/3) reached 14,013 people, Monday (24/3) as many as 13,933 people, Wednesday (26/3) increased to 17,412 people, Thursday (27/3) increased to 18,183 people, and Friday (28/3) until 14.00 WIB recorded 14,601 people.
